If you would prefer to have a camping experience, the hotel has its own tented camp in the Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary in Mombasa. You can enjoy a nature trail and watch the elephants go by, as well as a range of plant species native to the area. The Mwaluganje Hills are also very scenic, and make for great landscape photographs.

You get to stay in tents with twin beds and a private verandah which makes for excellent viewing and a chance to make friends with your fellow travelers.
